Behind the Scenes

Here at The Lucas Schoolhouse we’re breaking down the barrier between the art viewer and the artist. As a place for artists to join together to create their work, we love knowing that a gallery visitor has the opportunity to see the magic happen in real time.

We encourage the public to join us during open gallery hours, Saturdays from 11am - 5pm, to view the finished pieces available for sale on the gallery floor, as well as viewing the sculptures in progress out on the courtyard. There is a good chance you’ll be able to interact with a resident artist on-site and learn more about their projects and techniques during your visit. In the meantime, the blog of principal artist and owner, Abraham Mohler, showcases some of the latest large projects from start to finish.
